clicking sound at the crankstel area

I have a clicking noise on my mtb it seems to come from my crankset the noise occurs when my left crank arm is at 8.7 or 6 o'clock when I turn my bike upside down I cannot make the noise and it follows the cadence i took my pedals off then the sound is still there it's an aluminum frame with a triple crankset from shimano acera

    Crank arm brushing the front mech cable (bit after clamp) at to of rotation? May be dependent on mech and cable position ie more prominent or only occurs when on certain chainrings.

    my cable doesn't touch my crankarm and i have the sound on al the chainrings
