Tacx Neo spin down noise

Anyone had any issues with the Neo when spinning down? Sounds a bit like a thud of metal against metal every rotation of the disc when I stop pedaling? Plus some grinding noise when I start up. I've watched the videos, read the tacx site about noises and emailed support, but just wondering if anyone has experienced similar?

Coinciding also with finding it more difficult to pedal but that could be in my head.
