Vittoria Corsa G+ - manufacturing fault

I bought a pair of Vittoria Corsa G+ tyres from Merlin, back in June.

I have hardly ridden on them and today noticed a potential manufacturing fault on one of them - a kind of blead of the rubber from the sidewall into the bead area.

Merlin - as expected - have been great and offered to take a look but it's not ideal at the moment.

So...

I thought I'd consult the hivemind here.

It appears to be nothing, if I'm honest, but I don't want to ignore and be let down when I'm miles from home!
