TV is sh*t at the moment.
Can't they show re-runs of Hill St Blues or Kojak or even, Starsky and Hutch?

Depends how much telly you're watching - I've found they have put some half decent movies on in the evenings (we're freeview only for now). I guess re-runs will become more common as the amount of live stuff goes down.

I'm all for stuff like Starsky and Hutch etc. Drop 'em a line and ask nicely?

S&H is on True Entertainment and Sony.
Pretty sure I've seen Kojak listed. Itv4?
No Sky Stevo? Blame the virus, or of course the usual suspect, Brexit. ;)

Or Wiggle, as that's more plausible.

TBH we've never really had enough TV watching time or inclination - until now...still, we seem to be getting by on Freeview for the time being.

Another non-TV watcher here. Be rare for me to watch more than a half hour of anything in a week.

We have a huge library of movies here too, last count was over 500 DVD and Blu-Ray titles, and a seriously awesome theatre sound system.

Don't think I've watched a movie this year yet. 🙄

Oat Bar Recipe that will survive in the jersey pocket.

    Ingredients:
    160g Rolled Oats
100g Mixed Raisins & Cranberries (Tesco)
    75g Finely Chopped Almonds
    60ml Maple Syrup
    4 Finely Chopped Soft Figs
    3 Medium Eggs

    Method:
Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl by hand so that all the fruit is coated by the oats and almonds.
Lightly whisk the eggs and maple syrup, add to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Line a brownie tin with oiled greaseproof paper and level the mixture into the tin and leave, preferably overnight (to allow the oats to absorb the eggs and maple syrup).
Preheat oven to Gas Mark 3 (160°C or 325°F).
Bake for 45 min then cut the mixture into bars.
This mix should make 8 good sized bars.
Invert the cut bars onto a cooling rack covered in oiled greaseproof paper and bake for a further 15 minutes.
Allow to cool and wrap with cling-film.

For a vegan alternative substitute two very ripe bananas for the eggs.
