Good social in the pub last night as I’m working from home as the car needs to go to the dealers. Meant to be cycling back but the roads look a bit icy so may wait for the wife to come through after dropping the FIL off at the hospital

Tradie day here. Builder bloke in first with small excavator to dig trench for stormwater management and some other issues, then plumber visited to check measurements for fixing above, and finally chimney sweep in for pre-winter check and clean of fireplaces. All good.

Main computer died last night :s:'( so in between have been shifting files from backup server to laptop for temporary use till a new desktop is procured.

Managed to reverse my Navara through the garage door last night. Mrs HD was mortified, I was just glad the bikes were safe.

And I've bagged a place on the ride together part of Ride London.

And I'm off to Amsterdam this afternoon.

And I'm finishing work in less than an hour.

Barr the garage door, all win win.

Door open? Well done. At last.
    Door closed? Duh.

@HD did TWL give you the idea of how to park from the Thursday Thread?

Dates away all weekend, I'll find a way to occupy myself. May take the MTB out to see the Welsh.

    cake for breakfast.

    Ciao

Finished all the pay and bonus reviews for the minions, finally. Can't tell them what they're getting yet though.

Presenting to the board this afternoon on budgets and our plans for next financial year. They're fed up after a few weeks of this stuff (I'm the last one on the list...) so it should be easy peasy - famous last words. There's also an 'International Womens Day' event in the office so a few of us have put in a special request to have it live streamed into the pub over the road from the office :)

No coffee, bistro and cake for me today.

[assumes cockney accent, seems apt when talking about mota's]

Got stuck changing the winda regulata on the porker innit.

Bit of a fiddly job but it's done, so happy days. I can now drive down the road without a loud whistle 'cos I set the window 2cm's ff the top so I could shut the door without breaking the glass.
