Tiagra 4703 crank spacer
Hi
The 4703 (triple) chainset comes with a plastic spacer for the non drive side crank. Fits between RS500 Hollowtech BB cup and axle. The spacer is tapered and instructions don't imply whether flat side should go against BB or axle. Don't think it matters but thought I'd ask.
Seems odd as dirt will get trapped down the tapered side.

the way I interpret this is the fat side is flush with BB cup. tapered side is flush with crank arm. Not super obvious though.0
