Hi there everyone, grab yourself a bargain, my beautiful Trek Madone SLR 9 Project One disc, dura ace di2 is reluctantly being sold. I took delivery of the bike in October 2019 from Canterbury Cycle Lab, and the bike has only covered 35 miles in total since new. The reason for selling is I have cracked a disc in my back and have 3 further damaged discs which will require surgery so cannot get the miles in on this Madone and recovery time for the operation is about 6 months with my bike just sitting there collecting dust and not being ridden. The Trek is the new H1.5 fit so that it gives more opportunity to us mere mortals who cannot fit the aggressive H1 fit , but is still not as laid back as the H2 fit ,which makes it a joy to ride fast. I have had fitted continental 5000 28 mm tubeless tyres which are in perfect condition and are quick off the mark as well as being extremely comfortable , also I purchased the Bontrager Duotrap speed and cadence sensor which fits effortlessly into the chain stay which gives it a clean finish and preserves aerodynamics . I will also include the carbon Shimano Dura Ace clipless pedals. Also included is the Bontrager lon 200 rt Flare light set. The bike is a real eye catcher in its Viper Red colours and aero Aeolus XXX6 Carbon wheels and is incredibly fast to ride probably the most aero dynamic quickest aero bike out there with the added comfort due to the top tube iso-speed which allows you to customise compliance according to your preference. To sum up I would say that this is a pro level road bike, which is the ultimate race bike, combining advanced aero dynamics, ultra-lightweight with superior ride quality. This is a very reluctant sale but it’s hard to justify having a £10,000 bike sitting in our bedroom not being used (As my wife is frequently pointing out to me!). The bike has been registered using its serial number with Trek. Thanks for your interest
