WTB Riddler tyres - tight!

I recently bought a Cannondale Caadx 105 bike which comes with 'WTB STP i19 TCS, 28h, tubeless ready' Rims and 'WTB Riddler, 700 x 37c, tubeless ready' tyres.

I thought i'd swap the tyres for some gatorskins, now i'm hoping to be out on the road more, but I simply can't get the tyres off! I know they are tubeless ready, but they definitely have tubes in.

Anyone have similar issues? are tubeless tyres designed to be extremely tight fit? Makes me worry how i'd manage if I punctured while out on a ride!

Thanks for the help...

Properly designed tubeless tyres and rims will lock together. To start the removal, push the bead in towards the centre of the rim. This might require a fair bit of force, but once the first but is there, the rest will be a lot easier.
