Which wheels? Fulcrum racing 900 or dT Swiss e 1850 spline?

Hi all

I am buying a new bike and have a choice of fulcrum racing 900 or dT Swiss e 1850 spline, both disc brake. I've struggled to find exact specs, but the dT Swiss appear to be wider and possibly have better compatibility for tubeless tyres?

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

  • TBH they're both much of a muchness. Low end wheels from either brand.
Any chance of getting something a bit nicer?
  • Those are the stock options on the bike, so not at the moment. I'm inclined towards the dt Swiss ones due to the apparent greater compatibility with tyres (aparently the fulcrum ones only recommend swalbe tyres)
  • I have the DT Swiss one's on my Grail (came as standard). They seem ok so far in the 320 miles I've ridden it and take my 100kg weight and the kack handedness of my offroad skill well.

Both stock wheelsets and unlikely to be much difference between the two. So go with which you like the decal of more.
