What is the difference between the following two Shimano cassettes? Both are 11-46T, both brand new.
Deore SLX CS M7000
SLX M7000
I found them on two different websites, big price difference. The spec appears to be the same, pictures look the same. They must be relatively new design as they have the M7000 designation.
Are they the exact same, just a different choice of name?

Links would help to say for certain, but if they're both M7000 and the same size then they're the same.0

The price is so good on the cheaper one that If I post the links I'm concerned they will all be gone before I get one!0

Slx will use the alloy spider that the gears are riveted on to. This is better if you have an alloy freehub to avoid it getting chewed up.
hmm might have a look myself n get one as looking to upgrade to 11spd

There is no difference, @steve_sordy.
SLX M700 is the series name. CS-M7000-11 is the model number.
(CS just indicates it is a cassette).
Buy the cheaper one and smile.“Life has been unfaithful
And it all promised so so much”

Probably not SLX anyway but a hooky Chinese Shinano copy.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
