Tokyo wheels.

I receive emails from a company called Tokyo wheels following an enquiry a while ago. Their wheels and service seem
brilliant along with customer reviews!
Anyone used them ?
Believe they are from the US.

    Looks like just another generic, Chinese/Taiwanese re-badging business to me.

    I thought the same but you check the site out. They do look plausibly good.

    I have checked the site out. It doesn't mean the wheels are bad - it just means they are nothing special.

    I brought a pair of carbon tubulars from TW in 2015, when they offered 365 day test ride. I fully intended to ride them for a year and return them and claim a refund plus 10% cash-back, unbelievable, but true.

    With that offer I can't believe I didn't return them, but the hassle of sending back to China (the cost of which was covered by TW) a pair of wheels that were just great, and the thought of buying a new set that were maybe duff, plus the fact that they had by then limited the returns to 65 days, all meant that I just kept them on my bike.

    The rims finally gave up in 2019 with more than 20,000 Exmoor (stupidly hilly) year round miles on them. The DT240 hubs were still running smoothly, and I never adjusted a spoke in all that time.

    So, yes, they are (were) really good wheels, but imposter is right they are just re-badged FarSports wheels that you can buy much cheaper from source.

    Wasn't there a long-running thread about this outfit from ages ago where the company rep joined in? IIRC he claimed they were unique but was provided contradictory evidence, then there was a flurry of first-time posters saying how good they were.
