What is a good light XC mtb for aprox 1150 pounds that has good components and frame? Thank you very much in advance.

    How many times are you going to ask this?

    Do you have any preferences for wheel size, frame material, groupset, etc? Do you want hard tail or full suspension?

    As advised previously have a look on Paul's Cycles and see what is available for your budget. The Giant Fathom 1 2019 and Cube Reaction hard tails fit the bill.
    Also have a look at Rutland Cycles. They often have deals going.

    If you don't know what you want..
    Just buy something like a bizango for circa £600 it's a very good bike.

    That will leave you extra cash for clothing, some tools /tyre repair kit /track pump and better tyres, maybe some better pedals etc. Etc.

    It's daft to spend more than a grand on a bike if you are unsure of what you want.
