Cycled to the office this morning - first time on a bike this year.
Lovely shiny bike is no longer clean and shiny
Forgot how much fun it was avoiding vans driving wrong way down one way streets and having to negotiate artics abandoned in the middle of the road.

Work's going OK so far, but the day is still young.

First day back in the office since Tuesday following an unexpected leave for parental bereavement.

Not much seems to have changed during my absence.

Thanks. It wasn't unexpected - my father had been withering away from pulmonary fibrosis for some time. My mother has advanced dementia and, as a result, is grieving again and again as she forgets and has to be reminded of his passing away. That really isn't much fun.

Tired and achy this morning, pedalling in the wind really didn't help. Just had lunch which did help.

Me went to Weegie land me. Went via A738 and the new bypass to Erskine Br.. This was great - smooth tarmac, a few conducive cambers and lots of water. Much fun. Tyres are shyte - it's official. 350 miles now. Good for the 0-60 ish mph range.
