I'm scratching my head with fitting a Campagnolo (centerlock) rotor to a Fulcrum disc brake wheel (both new). The Fulcrum instructions show a supplied, thin wavy washer placed between the lock ring and the rotor. However the Fulcrum picture show a rotor with a smooth outer surface. The Campagnolo rotor has a serrated surface, as has the supplied Fulcrum lock ring. Does it still need the washer in that case? With the lock ring tightened to 40Nm, I suppose the washer will just get crushed between the two serrated surfaces. If the washer IS needed, does it need to be replaced when the rotor get replaced?
