Storck Sizing advice

hi all,
I currently own a 2011 Basso Astra 53cm and am looking at the Storck Aerfast bike. According to their size chart i am a small! But i am 174cm tall so hardly small! I tried to do a comparison on the 2 frames but Im useless at that type of thing.
Basso geometry:
Storck geometry:
the top tube in the small is shorter than my basso, but the medium is longer...what would anyone suggest? I have always ridden a 52-54 frame. please help!

If in doubt always go for the shorter frame.
You can always add a longer stem if it really is too short.0
