What's in your Saddle Bag?

Just wanting to get a general idea of what people carry in their Saddle Bags. I carry a spare tube (obviously), tyre levers, patches, a 4mm hex key, chain tool and a pair of latex gloves. Total weight is 278g. Am I missing something I really ought to have included?
A small pump is carried in my jersey pocket btw.

A multitool is very useful and many include a chain breaker as well as the range of hex keys you are likely to need.
2x spare tubes.
I also now carry a co2 inflator and canisters in the saddle bag.
Only other things are a patch kit (I don't rate the ready/ quick patches), money and some a small piece of old inner tube or tyre.

I do have a couple of multitools as such but can only really recall using the 4mm hex key on them so thought I'd replace it with a hex key and chain tool. I do realise it might prove unwise.
Cash/card is with phone in jersey pocket.0 -

Fix-It Sticks

Levers
Inner Tube Patches
£5
CO2
All fit easily in a silca seatroll.
Happy to run without the tube but it's nice to have one in case someone else runs out, or a major sidewall failure.0 -
Each bike has it's own pump and saddle bag, each bag contains 2 inner tubes and 2x chain links for that bike (ie gravel has 2x700x35c+10spd, road 2x700x28c + 10spd, , hybrid 2x26"x2.2" + 9spd)
Bottle tool, which is swapped to the bike i'm riding, has
4 x tyre levers
multitool with alan keys and chain breaker
pair butile mechanics gloves
emergency light ( can be red or white ) and a sealed AA battery for it.
Patch repair kit
piece of Toothpaste Tube for use as a tyre boot
Single amber glow stick
Spare CR2032 battery for garmin sensors.
I throw a card/cash in it if i'm going longer than my normal commute - I commute by bike, so i'm pretty much prepared for most eventualities.
It did have a set of "be seen" lights I was given by a council worker, but I gave those away a few weeks ago to someone who had "had their lights nicked" and was riding in the dark with no lights.
Intent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.

Multitool, tube, tyre levers, links, patches, rainjacket, pump, contact lenses, latex gloves.
I prefer stuff on the bike than in the pocket.0 -

Vel multitool with chainsplitter (very impressed with this!)
1x tube
2 tyre levers
Quicklink
CO2
Smallest pump I could find
Valve extender tool
I don't bother with a tyre boot - have used folding cash or food wrappers when required.0 -

Why are you not carrying 3/5/6mm allen keys?
it just seems I use 4mm more than any other :-/
I forgot, since I mostly use a Lezyne screw-on pump and Continental tubes, I also carry a valve core tool/remover - just in case!

Saddle bags are so small these days, I carry what I can.
Puncher outfit, tyre levers, multitool (with chain splitter), CO2 x 2 + the part used 1 on the adaptor (or pump on bike), be-seen lights, house key – it’s FULL with that lot, waterproofs are strapped to the outside of the saddle bag if the forecast looks like rain at some point
It’s a good day out when I don’t need to open it up before getting home

I use one of these if I want to carry a lot - like I say, jacket and pump goes in there too, along with any food I won't want for a few hours:Charlie_Croker said:Saddle bags are so small these days
