    that last crash nearly killed him (head trauma) so maybe he is not at a level he would consider good enough or maybe he just doesnt need to do it anymore. He's ridden at the highest level and had the good fortune to be on the winning side at the TdF

    Cycling Podcast suggest he wanted another year but didn't get a deal.
    I'd have thought it was 'time' for hime, esp given recent injuries. I hope he gets a good gig in the industry.
