Matching group sets on Tacx Flux S and Cheap Bike.

Hi all.
First post. Great forum.
Been riding for a few years but more seriously since buying a Cannondale Synapse in the Spring of 2018.
I bought a Tacx Flux S a few months back and having been using the Synapse on that which I find annoying.
I put a 105 cassette on the Tacx in order to match the 105 on the Synapse.
My question is whether I have to find a bike with a 105 group set to match or will any derailer work with the 105 cassette?

    Any Shimano groupset or SRAM with the same number of gears.

    If I were you I'd be looking for a winter bike and put your good bike on the turbo.
