10 to 11 spd conversion

Hi just bought 11 spd cassette to replace 10 spd cassette because I acquired 11 spd shifters ,rear derailleur etc but I won't shift to largest sprocket even when limit screw fully out .Am I maybe missing a spacer between spoke side of freehub body and cassette .ie is my present set up too close to the spoke side.

    I had this problem and it could be a multitude of problems. Remove cable, limit screws right out and see if you can push derralr up to largest sprocket. If you can then drl ok. If you can’t then maybe you have 10 speed drl. Maybe chain too loose, hanger bent ??

    My money is on a bent mech or mech hanger. They don't have to be bent much at all, hardly noticeable, but it has a big impact. It is quick and easy to fix, but you need a derailleur alignment gauge and alignment tool. They cost about £25-£30. But your LBS will align your mech for about £10.
