Hi everyone,
I'm in a bit of a rush so I'd be really grateful if someone can help me out with this.
I'm working in a courier company and I use a surly crosscheck 1x10 with flat bar, shimano tiagra thumb shifter and tiagra derailleur.
My thumb is starting to hurt badly and I want to switch to grip shifter asap as this issue is starting to affect my work.
I'm getting really confused about sram compatibility with shimano and also what is the best option here.
Should I actually get a sraw derailleur as well?
What do you suggest I get? I want something of good quality because I want to be able to work with ease.
Thanks a lot

Only SRAM seem to offer a ten speed grip shifter, so you will need to use the corresponding sram rear derailleur to be compatible with it.
Everything else you have should just work (chain, cassette etc).
The shifters seem to be fairly hard to find as most SRAM stuff has moved on to 11 speed, but they still have them on Amazon:

Them something like this (medium cage):

if the shift is tough, you might save yourself a lot of time and money by replacing the inner and outer cables, it shouldnt be a hard press when it's working properly and it might solve your problem for a fiver and ten leisurely minutes
