Speedplay zero cleat swap

in Second hand road bike parts, tools and clothing
Most of us have a preferred foot with which to unclip from the pedal. It so happens that mine is the left foot and as a consequence my LH cleats are worn out long before the RH side. Rather than buying a fresh pair of cleats I wonder if I can swap with someone from the opposite camp?
Note, it's the normal version, not the walkable cleat.

    I'd suspect most Brits unclip left foot first. That way you can put your foot on the kerb and you're leaning away from traffic. If you mess up - you don't fall into the road - hopefully a soft verge. But good luck anyway.
