Climate change BS

I'm thinking another instance of these Russian troll bots, post shite on random English language sites to try to create yet more division and argument. Try to promote strife, feed both sides of the 'debate'.
Me, I reckon global warming is being caused by vaccines so solution to all our troubles is obvious, don't vaccinate anyone and problem solved.0 -
lets say that none of it is true and it is all made up like you seem to believe - what is wrong with reducing our carbon footprints regardless?
less pollution seems like a good thing, driving less will mean saving money, better insulated houses will again save house, fossil fuels won't last forever so finding alternatives must be a good idea, driving less and walking/cycling more is good for people and many other things.
what is the downside?www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes1 -
Feel a bit stupid when you've made the country a nicer place to be, and it turns out to be for nothing, won't you?chris_bass said:lets say that none of it is true and it is all made up like you seem to believe - what is wrong with reducing our carbon footprints regardless?

Even if climate change is BS the pollution is out of control. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

you think that is bad, you want to watch out for all the stuff they are putting in our water that is turning everyone gay!! Alex Jones said it so it must be true! Oh and Michelle Obama is really a man!!rick_chasey said:Chem trails innit.

The global warming debate is obviously a mind control debate to divert attention from the fact that the real elite are moving the earth closer to the sun in order to make more money from banking.0

often the most obvious answer is the truth. the warmer the earth becomes the easier it will be to melt down all the gold and precious metals into one enormous lump and dance around and worship it and bask in their wealth and power!rick_chasey said:The global warming debate is obviously a mind control debate to divert attention from the fact that the real elite are moving the earth closer to the sun in order to make more money from banking.

If you want to do some googling of your own you might look here:cruff said:
You're an imbecile. Less than 15 seconds of Googling leads you to the 'evil twin' theory detailing how ocean acidification is related directly to global warming. Another two minutes reading the Wikipedia article gives you enough explanation of the evidence that it makes it scientifically incontrovertible that the two are related, and explains just how it is possible.earthnospam said:Well the conversation here sums up the mentality of the climate brigade. Not interested in the glaring contradiction in the argument or the basic science that as water temperature rises, CO2 comes out of solution. So the increase in atmospheric CO2 follows temperature increase. Instead more interested in how to cull the population by means of disease and war.
So, before you start tinfoil hatting after posting precisely one thing in this forum in the past before you start trowelling this shyite out, educate yourself.

The science clearly shows all the solubility of all gases decreases as the temperature of water increases. The rates are different for oxygen and carbon dioxide as would be expected. But the seas cannot absorb more carbon dioxide while releasing oxygen. Both of these claims have been made by climate scientists. There is a whopping contradiction in these claims.0 -

how do you pick which science/scientists you believe?www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -
When the argument the climate scientists put forward is contradictory that's a big enough indicator that they are not to be believed.
Here it is. We were told that the sea is acidifying due to C02 emissions. CO2 does dissolve in water and some of that becomes carbonic acid which would cause acidification. We are now told because the sea temperature is increasing the amount of dissolved oxygen is decreasing. This is also follows because as the temperature of water increases its ability to hold any gas decreases. But it's ability to hold CO2 also decreases. So either the sea is not acidifying or oxygen is not coming out of solution. You can't have both.0 -
Reminds me of the Blackadder 'opinion is divided' thing.0

Of course you can. Sea temperature and concentration of CO2 or Oxygen in the atmosphere are three separate factors (there are others) affecting the amount of those gases dissolved in the oceans. Those graphs only show the change in the ability for a gas to dissolve in water for a given temperature.earthnospam said:When the argument the climate scientists put forward is contradictory that's a big enough indicator that they are not to be believed.

If solubility is inversely related to temperature AND related to the concentration of the given gas in the air then it is entirely possible for the latter to override the former.
Quite apart from the logical fallacy of your argument, the oceans have been shown to be both acidifying and de-oxygenating1985 Mercian King of Mercia - work in progress (Hah! Who am I kidding?)

Did someone mention vaccines?
There was a reddit post where an anti vaxxer kid went on about the chemicals they put into your body in the vaccines. Then went on to suggest taking a bit of the virus so your body can like learn how to cure itself. Thus coming up with the idea of vaccines.
I think that is the level of scientific understanding a lot of climate change deniers have. Enough to get things wrong.
Do we take as much time as necessary to educate them? Or do we cut our losses and ignore them after a brief attempt at education?0 -
