Repair or replace

looking for some advice. I have a 2016 Trek Emonda SL it’s a great bike but has a few battle scars from the previous owner. I respray into a base colour with no decals will be about £600 or do I go for a new 2020 ALU frame emonda for £800?

600 seems a little steep, might be worth looking around for a better deal. 2020 version might not have as good a groupset and may be disc. Personally I'd keep the old one as a winter / wet bike and buy the new one for dry summer days.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

Not used them so not a recommendation but was looking for powder coating on something else and they have a price list if it's of interest. £600 seems steep.
  • If you buy a 3 year old bike, keep it with its scars. 600 for a respray is ridiculous

Yeah, this. Just ride the thing and spend the money on booze.
