Buying a bag or box for transporting my road bike

My road bike has front and back mudguards. I am looking for a box or a bag to transport it on a plane. Most bags and boxes seem to be made for bikes without mudguards.

Any advice?

Take them off when you pack. You'll have to take the wheels off anyway.

Can you leave the bridge/fork mounts in place but take the screws out of the wire pieces from the m-guard eyes?
