2015 Cannondale SuperSix Evo Full Carbon Road Bike – Dura Ace 9000, Campagnolo Zonda Wheelset – 7.0kgs -£4000
£1250 O.N.O
This is Cannondale’s do it all Carbon race bike, it is light, fast and comfortable enough for all day riding, a perfect Sportive bike for that new challenge. No need to spend a fortune on a new bike that will lose half its value the second you take it for a ride, buy a basically new bike for half the price.
I have just rebuilt the bike back up from scratch using a Dura Ace 9000 groupset and lovely Campagnolo Zonda Wheels. The full weight of the bike without pedals (which are NOT included in the sale) is only 7.0kgs which is even more impressive given the extra large 58cm frame.
The bike is incredibly light weighing only 7.0kgs for the complete build without pedals (which are NOT included in the sale!)
These bikes Retailed at £3600 when new so at asking price this bike is an absolute steal.
Incredibly comfortable ride and great looking stylings with very high level Dura Ace 9000 groupset which gives you perfect shifting and a responsive ride.
Light, stiff and nimble, the Supersix Evo is joy to ride fast. The racey geometry and sophisticated carbon lay-up lead to a smooth yet responsive ride. This model comes equipped with a Sram Force groupset
The Frame is an Extra Large frame which measures 58cm from centre of headset to centre of seatpost .I am 5ft 11 and find it a good fit but I am on the small side, there is plenty of scope upwards but probably not a lot smaller.
There is some cosmetic damage to the crank arm (the retaining screw failed whilst cycling in Richmond park and the crank arm came off attached to my shoe, luckily didn't crash). Retaining screw has since been replaced.
Second is some wear to the paint on the chainstays. Again this is cosmetic and was caused when I was running 25mm Continental GP4000 on there and they come up larger than 25mm, hence rubbing on the paintwork slightly. As soon as I realised what the problem was I swapped out for Hutchinson tyres which come up to the width they say.

Cannondale SuperSix Evo Red 22
Cannondale SuperSix Evo Red 22 at £3,799 is the range-topping road bike with SRAM Red 22 groupset and the lightest mass-made frame available
Score
9/10

• Weight:
Pros
• Light, light, light — there’s no arguing that the SuperSix is staggeringly light
• Despite its lightness, this is a very positive, super-stable ride
Cons
• Although the SRAM Red groupset is high-end, the high price tag is an instant negative
Price as reviewed:
£3,799
• The Cannondale SuperSix Evo is the lightest mass-produced bike frame in the world, coming in at less than 700g. This pricey option comes fitted with SRAM Red 22, but for over a grand less, at £1,699, you can buy the SuperSix Evo 6 with Shimano 105.
Frameset
For such a stand-out lightweight option, the SuperSix Evo frame is no shrinking violet. The paintwork is fulsome, and in many respects it looks like any other top-end carbon race bike.
Cannondale says it uses “advanced high-modulus BallisTec Construction and nano tech resins…” but outwardly it’s a very traditional, level top-tube frame shape. Unlike the Scott, it also has a bridge between the seatstays for the rear brake. That rear brake cable is internally routed, although both gear cables stay where we can see them.
Components
Without wishing to state the bleedin’ obvious, Red 22 really does feel like SRAM’s best kit: there’s a positivity about gear changes and an overall smoothness to the drivetrain. The brakes are absolute corkers, too, though they can be a bit fiddly to set up.
Although this is not obviously a sportive bike, it does come fitted with a compact chainset, teamed with a 12-26t cassette. Anybody used to the luxury of ultra wide-ranging cassettes might have to adjust their cadence expectations slightly on steep slopes, but you should still be able to conquer any climb.
The kit list is as follows:
Name Supersix EVO 2 Red (2015)
Shifters Dura Ace 9000
Seatpost Cannondale C1, 27.2mm
Saddle Fizik Arione
Rims Campagnolo Zonda
Rear Derailleur Dura Ace 9000
Bottom Bracket SRAM Red BB30
Headset Type SuperSix Evo, 1 1/8"–1 1/4"
Handlebar Cannondale C2
Stem Deda Zero 1
Front Derailleur Dura Ace 9000
Cranks Cannondale SL Compact 50 -34
Chain SRAM PG-1070
Cassette SRAM Force, 11-26
Brakes Dura Ace 9000
The bike looks and rides like a brand new bike and it certainly rides well!!
Any more photos let me know.
I am open to offers, but this bike cost me and is worth a fortune so only sensible offers please.
Bike to be collected or viewed from Cardiff Area
I am willing to post the bike, which I have already done a few times with no problems.
All parts will be meticulously wrapped in bubble wrap and the rear wheel will remain clamped to the frame protecting the derailler, mech hanger and rear of frame etc.
