I am visiting Chile late 2020/early 2021. My wife will be working and I'm planning on cycling for 7-10 days.
Can anyone share there experiences, offer advice or recommend reasonably priced tours?
Thanks

Erm... Probably best to pay more attention to the news than ask about cycling...Info835 said:I am visiting Chile late 2020/early 2021. My wife will be working and I'm planning on cycling for 7-10 days.

assuming it's Santiago... you'll be there in mid summer then; you're interested in day rides or touring? There's a good road scene in Santiago, and the ride from the east of the city (where you're likely to be based) to the ski area is wonderful. Opportunities abound - I lived in Santiago for three years and had a brilliant time road cycling. For longer rides there's the incredible Cuesta la Dormida col that sits above a small town called Olmue on the way to Viña del Mar.
With just over a week in Santiago you're likely to find yourself riding the same roads but once on the road to Farellones/ La Parva it'll feel you're in the wilderness. The Pie Andino to Chicureo is great for a ride as well - don't be put off by what looks like a busy road; it had a wide shoulder and will only be busy with commuters. https://www.intercycles.cl this shop would be a good place to start - and a good place to ride from as well.
For official tours - don't know but a search ought to yield something, there's a well developed tourism scene of locals and foreigners.
Chile is a wonderful country - don't be put off by the current situation.
