Hello Team
I'm working on my Trek Equinox 7 TT Triathlon bike and noticed that the cassette has 9 gears/sprockets while spec's are showing Shim 105 10-spd 11-25 sprockets.
So l'm looking to either replace dit the original factory spec's OR find An alternatieve Cassette.
Any advice/suggestion is welcome.

The problem with that is that you likely have a 9 speed shifter and mech, otherwise the shifting would be atrocious. It's not as simple as just swapping the cassette and having 10 gears.0

Could be they guy replaced the parts and made 9 speed, or shifters, derailleurs are 10 speed and u bought the wrong cassette before? If everything is 9 speed, it's easy don't look at the specs and buy a 9 speed cassette, 9 speeds are very easy to find because Sora still uses 9 speeds: https://www.bike24.com/1.php?content=8;product=8008;menu=1000,4,27;pgc[10]=54;sort=price_asc

I take it you bought second hand ?
I'd not worry. 9 speed should be fine for the bike. You're not going to race it on super hilly races are you ?0
