Hi there,
I own a Wilier Izoard XP and not sure about it's model (2011 or 2012). Headset bearings must be replaced and any advice regarding the item I need to order is highly appreciated. Are the bearings used in 2011 and 2012 similar?
Regards

If youre lucky, you might be able to read the size/number off existing bearing, then get one to match.
Have you tried contacting Wilier? If they can tell you the headset they put in it (Richey?), it might help find the bearing.0 -
As above, take them out and read the outside code.
They'll deffo be Ritchey as they supply all the headsets, seatposts, bars etc to Wilier (Scott also do this too). I'm pretty sure that the Izoard XP frame never changed throughout the model's lifespan, so the headset will be the same.
If the particular Ritchey headset you need isn't available, there are quite a few companies that make sets just as good. I recently swapped out an old set from my Foil and put some of the non Ritchey jobs in and they're spot on.
If the code has worn off / rusted off, just take the rings into you local bike shop and they should be able to work out what you need (if they know what they're doing).0
