    Ugo,

It comes with an inbuilt neck warmer/snood thing - It is permanently attached to the inside of the jacket which is weird. I have no issue wearing it as I would wear something like a buff anyway in cold weather but this may be an issue for others.

I have a BTwin jacket that has one of those but it's detachable. I'm guessing mine was a bit cheaper than the Assos one too (at full price anyway)!!!

You can fool some of the people all of the time. Concentrate on those people.

Unfortunately I am a medium... together with large, it's the size which is never on offer

This available in Medium :) Try code LEISURE10 and you get another 10% off.

I have the old style Alpha jersey and it's a brilliant top for the temperatures you are looking at. No longer available but if the Ros jersey is as good I would say well worth it.

It’s the old Assos outlet shop rebranded I think. I get regular emails with offers from them and I’ve only ever bought stuff from the old outlet shop.

I have the Mille Spring/Fall Assos jersey/jacket. Best piece of kit I own.

I dare say you'd get similar mileage from the Mille Winter offering.

  • I might have accidentally bought that orange Assos jersey...

which doesn't help the initial quest, but...

    Ugo,

Is this the one you are looking at : ?
    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Assos-Mille-GT-Winter-Jacket-Men-M-Blue-Badge-/273736365996

I got this exact one in XS small a few months and only just started wearing it.
I have never owned an Assos garment before as couldn't afford to or justify the price.
I got mine on Wiggles ebay site for an incredible bargain of £31 !!!! It was brand new with tags..

First impressions - I love it...Its very slim fit and I'm small !!!. It is very warm ...I normally overdress and always wear a gilet. With this I just have had a short sleeve light base layer on and feel very comfortable . When it gets colder will just need a heavier base layer. Water/showers just bead off - Not been in a downpour yet....

It comes with an inbuilt neck warmer/snood thing - It is permanently attached to the inside of the jacket which is weird. I have no issue wearing it as I would wear something like a buff anyway in cold weather but this may be an issue for others.

Its a quality piece if kit and I'm sure it will last a long time. I would not pay anywhere near full RRP for a jacket like this or any jacket for that matter but it does seem excellent

Sounds like you really lucked out and got the Ultraz if it has the built-in neck/face warmer.

It’s heavier and warmer than the regular Mille GT Winter. AFAIK that doesn’t have a built-in warmer.

Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

  • Ordered...

I went for the red, which is a compromise between the black with light blue zip which is my favourite but it's suicidal and the yellow one, which is the most visible but it looks horrid...

  • First long outing yesterday... 100 km with a brief shower, temperature around 6-7 degrees all morning. Perfect jacket, love the droplets bouncing on the fabric which stays dry... will this be a lasting feature in view of the PU membrane or just like the DWR coated jackets it will start to "get wet" in the not so distant future?

Pretty sure this doesn't require proofing. Assos choose not to go down the dwr route preferring to use certain materials and advise users to layer up. If it's heavy rain then a rain shell is required. No 'magic bullet' item. Drop Assos a memo if unsure

  • I have a Spring/Fall Mille GT that i recently bought from Assos, my last trip to the factory shop :)

I have to say that with a good undershirt it's easily warm enough for my current rides at around 5-10º and with a Winter undershirt i could ride in colder temperatures without any issue. I'm sure the Winter version is better equipped to handle rain though ? as i'm allergic to rain this jacket seems to cover my needs.
