Hi All,
Looking to fit a di2 to my Cervelo P3. The kit I’m looking at getting has the standard brake/shifters for a road bike. Can I do away with these and simply purchase the Tri bars shifters only?
I don’t want the drop bar brake/shifters, just a setup with the Tri bar end shifters.
Is this possible?
Many thanks

Have a look at this video - it might answer a few of your questions and be a useful guide at the same time. Looks like you only need the tri-bar shifters

A brake cable is a brake cable, so it makes no difference whether you use brake only brakes or the brakes with the Di2 button on them. For just brakes you only need the Di2 shifters for the trip-bars. Bear in mind that it can be useful to have the ability to use the shifters when on the flat bars if there's a climb or varying radius turns.I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.0

I've got the shifters on the tribars only and is no issue (and better than manual for TT more than road). Can easily hit the button on a climb if required and sitting up.Tri Coaching
