Hi, I recently swapped forks from Yari 2017 to Yari 2018 with +30mm travel...straight swap right? It was, until I came to fitting the XT callipers back on. The post mounts on the 2017 forks are angled and the post mounts on the 2018 forks are almost parallel and now the pads don’t align with the SRAM 200mm rotors. Tried the original Avid adapter and a new Shimano adapter...neither fit....anyone have any suggestions? Or done this before? Will add photos....have photos but can’t see how to add in here....

Older Yari's had 160mm post mounts, more recent Yari's have 180mm post mounts.sjb1781 wrote:The post mounts on the 2017 forks are angled
They would be 160mm post mounts.
For 200mm rotor you would use a SRAM 40MM POST adapter.....

For 203mm rotor you would use a Shimano SM-MA-F203P/P (43MM) adapter.....

For 200mm rotor you would use a Shimano SM-MA-F180P/P2 (20MM) adapter.....

* The SM-MA-F180P/P2 was made before 180mm post mounts were introduced, on 160mm post mounts it's a 180mm adapter, on the more recent 180mm post mounts it's a 200mm adapter. The adapter name 'SM-MA-F180P/P2' is a old name that doesn't reflect that it can be used on more then one post mount size for more then one rotor size.0 -
