    If it helps, he said although his wheels were heavier than others, he used better spokes so his wheels were stiffer and therefore felt better. It wasn't in any way a plug and the OP didn't decide to buy from him.

    Thanks very much for your précis of Malcolm’s post, I found the original more informative but never mind. I wouldn’t advocate you take up summarising as a profession though !
