SKS Raceblade Long - clip failed

I've mesg'd SKS on facebook - perhaps it's political, but they're taking a long time to get back to me - it's been 40 minutes so far!
I've got a set of SKS raceblades on my commute bike - generally good guards and the only real option for those of us with minimal brake clearance.
However, I've had now 2 issues with it ...
the first was (ages ago) the front blade extension - came off, then got crushed by a car on the road - I picked up the pieces - but it's knackered - never attempted a refit - not the end of the world, but a bit annoying.
the second is more of a pain - the clip mech that stops the rear guard from coming off the brake mount has failed - so I can slot it in, but the clip fails to engage - I had to stop twice on my ride in this morning (<40minute total) to reseat it, otherwise it clangs about - the danger is that it'll jam under the mount and against the tyre. The rest of the guard is fine - it just needs a new clip/spring ... anyone else had this issue and fixed it?
