B'Twin Triban new rear wheel
Hi
I need to replace my rear wheel on my B'Twin Triban 500 (size: 54cm , Medium).
Does anyone know where I can find a cheap replacement rear wheel?
I have no idea what to look out for in terms of knowing which wheels are suitable etc!
Any info would be much appreciated.
Many thanks,
Jack

This is probably a good starting point: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/C-755629-bi ... ear-wheels
If it's a road bike or hybrid then it's more than likely to need a 700c wheel. If it's a mountain bike then you need ask one the guys with muddy faces to be sure. You can fool some of the people all of the time. Concentrate on those people.0 -
Thank you!
Another thing I've seen is difference between freewheel and freehubs. Is this important when it comes to wheel selection?
e.g. https://www.decathlon.co.uk/triban-100- ... 28051.html
This option says it's designed for a freewheel.
Thanks

You'll need one with / for a freehub.
eg this one has a freehub

You'll need the tools to remove the cassette from the old wheel and fit it to the new one.
Unless the new wheel is needed because the old one was stolen, in which case you'll need to buy and fit a cassette too...0
