Spokes for Reynolds Attack 2010
Hi all, I have a Reynolds Attack carbon rear wheel from 2010, which is a small bit out of true and some spoke nipples have seized, making truing it practically impossible.
I'm therefore looking for info on what spokes are used on this wheel. Online searches indicates that they are DT Swiss Competition and DT Swiss Revolution (https://roadcyclinguk.com/gear/reynolds ... -ride.html) - but does anybody know what dimensions to order? I contacted Reynolds' (now Hayes Performance) customer service, but they did not have technical documentation on products from before 2012.
I could cut a spoke to be able to measure it, but am a bit reluctant to do so, now that the wheel is still rideable.
Thanks in advance!
Kasper

Efit They use sapim spokes now.. I have a renolylds wheel in the shop, a local ship dropped it off, for me to rebuilt. Going to do it it later. It's one of the the more modern 46mm deep rims though.
Easy job. It worth rebuilding. The wheel I have is being rebuilt because it was not truable. I will be rebuilding with washers and sapim nipple freeze. This will stop the nipples seizing and falling apart. Never leave alloy nipples in contact with carbon. They need a washer to separate them and that stops them falling apart through galavanic corrosion.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0 -
Yes, the 2010 use DT swiss spokes and they should have DT swiss hubs too. I would rebuild with DT competition on both sides, so you even make the wheel more robust in the process.
Front radial should be 280
Rear drive side 2x 285 and rear NDS radial should be 280

Upgrade dont stock many spokes. For the wheel I have they referred me to chickens who also did not have the spokes. Therefore I buy elsewhere.
J bend is what you need from that chart. Dt swiss revolution come in the right length but competitions some in even lengths normally in black. So you will ha e to go with 286mm which would be correct if you use washers. If you go with washer 280mm might be too short and 281mm might be better.
If your going to replace the spokes replace all of them. My other advise is sound. Use washer and spoke prep to avoid the same issue from reoccurring.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0 -
Thank you both for your help!
