How to remove oil stains from white frame.
I have a Ribble Granfondo which I have looked after well for the five years since I bought it. I have managed to get a few black oil stains on the white parts of the frame which probably got transfered from a cleaning cloth which must have rubbed uo against the chain. Anyone got any ideas on how best to remove them. They seem to be ingrained in to the frame.

Very gentle polish, not wax as you need something mildly abrasive. Without going too expensive you could try T-cut or even some pink Windolene. Failing that a trip to Halfords or your local car supplies. Had the same issue on OH's Ribble Bianco.
Once polished off then use a wax to protect.Summer - Giant Defy Composite 2 (Force 22) (retd)

Winter - Boardman CX Team (Rival X1 Hyd)0 -
If it's not ingrained then GT85 lifts it off easily enough. If it is scratched and ingrained then T-cut or similar cutting compound polish works well.0

Baby wipes work. Polish. Anything. I've two White bikes and this isn't an issue for me.0
