Best hybrid/mountain bike under 400£ ?

Hello I'm looking for a hybrid bike under 400 £. It has to be for city and also for mountains usage . I've noticed https://www.cyclerepublic.com/carrera-c ... -2019.html. This bikeneed to have a front suspension. Could you help me on this matter? Please let me know if you recommend any better options.

    The bike looks ok and it may be worth looking at British Cycling membership who certainly offer a discount at Halfords who also stock this bike.
    It is a hybrid bike and it can be used off road. It is not suitable for heavy off road/ off track cycling, jumps or soft ground.
    An alternative is to look for a second hand bike with a better specification. I've got a Boardman Hybrid and converted it to 1*10 rather than 3*9 gears. It is fine.
