Avid bb7 road s - post mount adapter problems
I have a specialized diverge a1 bike, which has 160mm rotors (front and rear) with tektro mira mechanical disc breaks.
I have recently bought Avid bb7 road S disc brakes, and I am trying to figure out what spacing I need to attach them to the frame. They are both post frame, however, when I tried to attach the front avid caliper, it was too close to the frame (i.e. it needs spacers). Hence, I presume I have the 140mm bb7 road s version, and I need some adapters?
Have looked a lot online, but still struggling to find an adapter that will seem to fit. I attach pictures below of the rear.
The front mira disc brake has no spacer, it's fitted directly on the frame.
Hence, I am wondering, do I need some sort of spacer/adapter? Or can I just just 20mm washers to add the avid bb7 road s on?
Thank you!
