Anybody have any experience, I am looking at some light Bicycle rims that are 28mm wide exterior with 21 mm interior. Would use 25mm tires (currently using Vitoria corsa G).

I've got a 2018 SS Hi-Mod with Ultegra R8000 rim brakes and Roval CLX32s (29mm wide I believe) and GP4000 25mm with room to spare. The tyres measure nearly 29mm wide. Depends how much tighter DA9000 is....
  • Cannondale says that there needs to be 4mm of space between the tire and frame or the warranty is voided if something happens. They said that 28mm actual width of tire is fine

The 9000 brakes struggle with wider fit rims for some reason. It's why some use Ultegra or other brand brakes with Dura Ace.
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.
  • Mine fit fine, different frame but no problem with
    9000 brakes.
