Problem with Brompton gearing

I've got a 3 spd Brompton.
I had a problem with the gears a couple of months ago where they were slipping and not engaging, especially 3rd gear. I took it in for a service and they fixed it.
I've now got a problem where it doesn't feel like the 1st gear is engaging, and I simply have use of gears 2 & 3.
I know nothing about hub gears, so have no idea where to begin with fixing it - other than going back to my LBS. I'd rather fix it if possible.
Any ideas gratefully received. Thanks

Hi.
Go on to You Tube and search under Brompton 3 Speed Gear adjustment and you’ll see several informative videos of how to fix. It’s an easy fix with a bit of practice as I’ve discovered.
No need to just look at Brompton do also look at sturmey archer too
