    Oooohhh. Aaaarrrggghh. Ooooffff.
That was me trying to get up earlier. Stiffened up a treat post football. Walked it off going to get something for breakfast.
  • Morning. Slight alcohol induced headache, hoping the bracing air will sort it as I clean windows on house.
Off for family meal lunchtime as old mans birthday.

    England 37 Italy 0
  • I’m working. :(
  • Ciao

Post cold wet windy ride coffee here - Perfetto top, Assos arm and leg warmers. Winter is here.

Needless to say as winter is here I took the winter bike out so pumped the S3 tubulars up to a squillion psi and off we went. No shonky winter trash from this side. I may even think about cleaning it later. Then again, I may not.

Famiglia for rest of the day then weights sesh and Return of the Jedi.

    Catch ya later

    No riding for me today

Up in London village for the natural blondes birthday present weekend, just had a massive fry up, then a walk along the embankment to the west end and watching the matinee of The Book Of Mormon. After that an afternoon of margaritas and then dinner and back to the hotel to prepare for the morning hangover

    Wish me luck

Up just after 6am to drive to Brizzle for a uni open day. CBA to look at more crappy student accommodation so I am sat in The Panzer getting a bit of peace. Stropteen has a couple of mates in tow so full car but strangely no offer of a contribution towards petrol costs. Bloody millenials...

Of course you would say that.

Lovely day. Spoiled by the prospect of needing to cut the grass as the weather has been too wet and unlikely to improve.
Spent the morning clearing up bits and pieces, loose ends, outstanding admin. Though I now feel emancipated from that ball and chain.

    Laters.

  • Very slow start after a lazy sleep-in, because raining. Brekky, dog walked between showers, coffee, then an afternoon of shed activity. Have a load of oak shiplap boards I am going to re-use for drawers, so first job is machine them down to nice straight edges to work with. Made a start, but *lots* of them to do....

I'd love to make them with dovetailed joints but there's at least 24 drawers to make, maybe more, so will be sticking to more simple assembly method. Still going to be a long job.

What's better than dinner?! Except lunch of course. A good lunch is better than a good dinner, in that it makes dinner redundant. A decent breakfast is not to be sneezed at either.

Not much doing here. Might go and get the car cleaned. Maybe go to a wine shop for a browse. Mooching.

Much underrated meat. I like it as lapin a la moutarde, but it's all good.

Well, thinking being if everythings black, and dirt is black. My drivetrain can never be dirty! I did change the cable outers for my brakes so they are now matt black. Can we see a theme developing?

So long as you don't add Rapha black to the theme.

No chance, quite enjoying the slightly silly colours of Morvelo currently, though as it gets colder I'll be going back to my winter castelli and Ale gear.
