Giant composite frame workstand clamp spot

I couldn't find information about where to safely clamp my 2016 Giant Defy Advanced 2 bike which has composite frame and seat post. Here is response from Gaint Support.
"The clamp for your workstand is best attached to the seatpost of a Defy Advanced for repairs and maintenance. The least amount of clamping force necessary that firmly secures the bike in place, without slipping, is all that is needed when attaching a workstand to the D-fuse seatpost. One may use a rag or shammy around the seatpost to allow more surface area to be contacting the seatpost, increasing friction without additional force. If concerned about tightness of the clamp, feel welcome walking through the steps in-person with a local retailer."

Clamp it anywhere you like - just don't over-tighten it.0

Clamp around the seatpost but use additional support under the wheels when tightening or undoing the bb.0

Bricks are good for this, keep a few extra spare so you can raise the height if you're working on your bike whilst the wheels are off it0
