  • Morning. Sunny today after yesterdays rain so need to decide whether to ride or surf. Maybe do both but then there's the cricket and the rugby. Need more hours in day.

    Morning

Been waking up all night so not happy. Maybe it was all the haribo I ate yesterday.

I was pissed off earlier because it was raining and the forecast all day was scorchio, but all of a sudden it's stopped and the sky is blue :)

Dropping the hounds at the breeder in North London then a spot of chucking things in suitcases.

    Morning folks,
Traditional slow start is being enjoyed. Off to the old dear’s shortly to clear the garage so we can get roof some stuff. Sister wants to keep too much but I’m still feeling mean. Most bizarre find so far has to be the Saddam Hussein deck of cards.

    Someone on here?

Those cards must be worth something on ebay. Couldn't find an Iraqi ebay site though.

Me putting up with energetic toots me. They need an outlet. I need to find them an outlet.

    Laters.

long climby ride, took the longer way up to haria, hit the incoming calima about ten-ish, went to over 40 degrees, felt like riding into a fan heater on the way back, made for impressive mirage

just had a wallow in the pool to cool down, now applying beer at 2 degrees internally

Found more weirdness in the old man’s garage. Copies of a poster he had printed in 1998 of Wimbledon pub signs, not many of the left. An edition of Nova magazine that got pulled and all copies were supposed to be destroyed. Had a spoof article about Ted Heath getting married, the lawyers got cold feet and it was pulled. Also found an original 1974 Pirelli calendar.

More or less moved. A spot more unpacking tomorrow. I'm staying in the house with the dog until she goes to my mum's on Monday though.

I might order in hos and blow.

    Or pizza.

    Probably pizza.

Do all three. Just add some beer and you have all the bases covered.

Now packed and will relax/drink while Stressbag stresses about overpacking.

    [Educashun innit]

    I have been doing:

Repair blister in plaster, excavate, seal with PVA then undercoat, fill, fill again, skim, undercoat ready for emulsion. Thank fook for hair dryers.
Fixed lip pf back door, undercoated, painted.
Painted stain in kitchen ceiling - bath seal didn't seal. It's now sealed.
Sorted bottom garden gate so that toots can't get out and on to the road. In fact, no one can. That is until I get some chain and a padlock.
[Lithofin] Sealed the tiles in bathroom (annual job).
Washed, hoovered, cleaned and waxed Porker2. She's gleaming.
Made Pizza. Ground up job. None of that supermarket rubbish.

Rugby is a game played by men with odd shaped balls (apparently).

MF but only when Wales win. I like rugby regardless of result (obvs prefer Eng to win).
