Budget camera recommendations

As title, any recommendations for a camera mainly road use for budget of around £60 new or used. Two important specs would be good image stabilization and battery life of at least 90 mins. Not worried about latest 4k at this price lol

Probably your best option is to check out some of the videos on youtube that have tested action cameras and give a true spec. Many interpolate both images and video so the results can be poor on cheaper cameras. Tech4all is a good channel for budget camera reviews.
Sometimes a decent camera comes down to that sort of price, £60 even if close to £100 is the normal price. The Apeman Trawo and Xaomi Seabird are decent cameras that sometimes you see on offer.
If you come across an Activeon CX Gold or XG those have good sensors and chipsets. The company went down the pan so its all old stock now but they have decent electronics with true 1080p at 60fps and image stabilisation. Non-standard battery though and replacements are expensive.
There are many joke action cameras sold with terrible sensors and chipsets that still want high money. Some have toy image sensors that are only 1.3MP yet interpolate images up to 12MP and do 1080p video at 30fps but in reality it is 720p video interpolated to 1080p. Sort of camera that might come with a ton of accessories and 2 spare batteries with its own charger but the camera itself is junk.0 -
Cheap Activeon here.

Hard to think of how you can beat this for quality at the price. These were designed to compete directly with Gopro's and have decent components.0 -
dammit...looking at all the cameras and i kept wanting the next better one, until...I really needed long battery life without the faff of changing batteries mid ride, and waterproofness without the faff of a case, so ended up buying a first version of the Fly12, already got an ol Fly6 so should be happy0
