Faulty Drivetrain
Hi,
I’m kinda hoping you guys can offer some clarity on a serious fault my Cannondale Supersix suffered.
Basically the chainring crank and the left side crank have become unseated from the BB and are turning independently, plus they are both sticking out so far from the BB you can see the threads etc where they would screw in.
Now the bike is brand new and has only been rides for a few hundred miles so it’s very strange indeed.
I am in touch with the company I bought it from.
Many thanks

Bloody hell! They don't usually fall apart.

Hang on a minute, you mention threads being visible. Don't Cannondales use pressfit bottom brackets?
Can you post some pictures?0 -
You won't get much clarity here with the description you've given so far. Going to need a better description, or some pics. But if you say you've already been in touch with the shop, then let them sort it.0

Sounds like the 2 sides of the crank have come apart.0
