Means nothing unless you tell us what the Bilstein's were fitted to.

Car had DDC, back springs were badly corroded and both the front shocks was misting, shocks are about £450-£500 a corner, add in a pair of rear springs, its not cheap.
The Bilstein kit was £1400 after some discounts, same price fitted roughly as the standard DDC kit. Its not a silly height change anyway.
Plus side is now the DDC actually works, when ever I had tried to use it I couldn't tell anything was happening, misting shocks makes sense now so happy days.

Well, you can happily roll around in the boot still, all you can see is a small box running the length of the back of the boot about three inches high an about ten inches deep which has the three amps, cabling and cooling fans. There is a sub which is sat inside the spare wheel which is covered so bar the box you'd not have a clue whats in there.
I'm meant to be showing the car at a local VW owners thing Monday so may do some photos.

I shall oblige, got three lovely Genesis amps in there, a pair of series three powering the front doors and a series two powering the sub.
Still got bits I need to do need a second fan to create a proper air circulation an fit the LED strip to light up the amps. Still Photos Monday night in theory.

Looks like your boot is full of bricks. Maybe it's those amps.

Yeah I've sorted it now, was the silly speed bumps.

    Its a 2.0 Tractor the 140BHP flavour.

Cant do handbrake turns with an electronic handbrake!

Yeah, it was the horrible 108BHP, if I want more power I'd need the 6 speed box as the 5 melts if you put more power through it.
    Does what I need though

100bhp to propel it along the road and 40bhp to power the stereo.
I presume that 6 speed box is the same as on the Golf?

Each amp pulls 25a max so its not too bad. Box wise yes should just be a case of swapping out one from a Mk6 golf. Ill see about it when I need to do the clutch or DMF. Using the stock engine internals its OK to about 170BHP, after that it would need bigger injectors etc etc.
