Holds zero appeal. All reports I've heard are it's only bearable outside of main holiday crushes, so doesn't really tick the box unfortunately.0 -
Dunno about shops, but if there's a race on, I can recommend l'Express Bar on the corner of Rue du Roule and Rue Saint Honore.
Was the only place I could find showing Paris-Roubaix when I was there, and had a decent atmosphere with locals and cyclists (Rapha cycle club turned up for a late lunch)0 -
