Reverb Dropper Help

HI all
I have a Canyon Spectral cf 9.0 sl 2018 which as the ROCKSHOX Reverb Stealth dropper.
It is a Medium Frame and the dropper is 150mm I think, when it is fully up it feels a tiny but stretched when peddling- I have it at its lowest point in the frame. If I wanted to swap it over to something a bit shorter should I be taking note of the travel measurement and/or post length on the Rockshox website here:
https://www.sram.com/en/rockshox/models/sp-rvb-s-c1
I know it may seem a silly question but can’t get my head around it?

I had the same problem on a YT Capra. I agree with you, it is irritating. Fortunately for me the Reverb failed withing 3 months and I persuaded Rockshox to replace it with a 125mm travel version of the same dropper(I didn't bother contacting YT Industries). Then instead of the body being fully inserted, I had it 15mm out - job done!
I can't believe how little of the information needed is posted by sellers, even the manufacturers! (By the way, CRC have it spot on with their Brand X dropper, just page right on the pictures to get the dimension table).
You should find this link useful. It will open in French, but a little window should pop up top right asking if you want it translated to English.
