Cold wind early. Busy day with various jobs. Set fire to some dead grass tufts with help of metho. Got the grinder out and modified the XTR front mech which now (just) clears the crank arm. Will see if there’s any flex rub with a proper ride. Removed architraves downstairs, just the bathroom tiles to strip out now and it’s ready for new flooring throughout.

Day off tomorrow, planned lunch out with friends should be a good thing.

Meh - in-laws coming round this afternoon. Hounds are restless and just when we thought the rain had stopped it sneaked up on us with a quick cloud burst. Managed a quick run out in The Panzer in between jobs as some consolation fun. Now preparig for said in laws to descend.

Car successfully serviced between showers (first time DIY) and not too much of an oil slick left on the drive.
Planning on heading out this afternoon to support the nutters doing the 24 hr time trial.

Surely everyone packs on a few lbs on holiday! :D
There're gyms, pools and the sea to keep active as well.

No none what so ever. I mean you find a cottage in the middle of no where, miles from anything and most importantly, miles from Porker#2, away form home and at the same time, spend money. Pointless.

I just had dinner, with the kids and Mrs H3, at her request, at somewhere called hooters. I can't recommend the food.

Sometimes nice views can make up for mediocre food.
