Giro cinder MIPS as a summer helmet?

Does anybody here have experience with Giro Cinder MIPS (or non mips) while climbing in the summer? How's it for heat management?
I'm looking to replace an old (2007) Bell helmet that I use in the summer (family reasons). Other than age, the two issues I have with it are noise over 30mph and heat & sweat management. At 24C or higher, whenever I am climbing for any decent period (>10 minutes at >5%) I no longer go fast enough for windchill to cool my sweat, and somehow I always get a little bit of sweat near my left eyelids. This bit annoys the crap out of me.
There's an LBS here that sells mostly Kask stuff, and the Mojito is apparently great for ventilation. Unfortunately, my head shape and Kask seem pretty much incompatible, and neither M nor L Mojitos are comfortable. On the other hand Giro Cinder MIPS fits me well in M, and was very strongly considering it. Again, any comments?

I replaced synthe with cinder mips, I'd say it's heavier, was expecting that due to mips, but I've definitely noticed a bit more sweating of late... , may just be me. I do sweat a lot particularly when climbing as I'm big boned!0

Thank you! I'm honestly not that concerned about the weight. 300g is the weight of the Spesh Echelon II I commute on, and it's OK. I'm also about 80W short of what I should be able to do :-(
Regardless, do you find the sponges effective in absorbing or displacing the sweat sideways?0 -
Couldn't say I've noticed that, still have sweat dripping down on my glasses0

I returned mine -it was just too bulbous on my head.0

I recommend wearing a synthetic cap under helmet, they are brilliant for swear management and chill prevention on descent. Also, I found Kask Protone to be a very quiet helmet compared to my older Giro, even if less ventilated, but it does not bother me much. It doesn't turn you into a mushroom, either.0

Ive got the non MIPS and its great I even prefer to to my old Mojito. Only thing is don't get the yellow one as a the wasps love it. Never stung in 45 years until I worn this helmet! Also great for gripping sunglasses when not being worn.0

Bought the Giro Aeon as usually ride in a Met Manta - too hot for summer. Aeon has been superb - great ventilation but a lot noisier than my aero lid when descending.0

I've got a Cinder, only bought it this year so not really had much hot weather and I'm not a profuse sweater either. I'm happy with it so far, comfortable and probably similar to my previous non MIPS Bell in terms of comfot in the heat experienced so far. I don't think it's particularly "mushroomy" and I prefer the design to lids like the Kask Mojito that make me look like Sonic the Hedgehog from behind! OK, I've gone ahead and bought a Cinder MIPS in white/silver. I had a last bout of temptation for a Bell Stratus MIPS, but was somewhat unconvinced by the straps (and how these look on GCN people...). Will see how it works.0

Bought a Cinder MIPS (Silver/White) about 4wks back. It's been super hot since and i've been in France for the last 2wks with decent temperatures and i can't say that i've noticed any issues with heat on my bonce, i do typically wear a thin racing cap though and without that i'm sure i would have sweat streaming down my face just as i did with my previous noggin protector.
I like the helmet a lot, super light (by my standards) should give me better protection vs the old one and looks nice.0
